Description
The Large Pyrite knife has a 9.39 cm blade with a 2.7 mm thickness, a 59-61 HRC hardness, a flat grind, and a stonewash finish. The handle is made from OD green canvas micarta and is comfortable to hold. The knife has a button lock mechanism and a ceramic ball bearing pivot. The pocket clip is reversible and is made from deep carry stainless steel.
The Large Pyrite uses a combination of its button lock mechanism with ceramic ball bearings in the pivot to make this knife quick to deploy and always ready in hand. The smooth action allows the blade to be flicked open with one hand with a press of the button lock or a flick of the thumbstuds. This knife can easily double as a fidget toy with how much it is to use. The blade is made from AR-RPM9, a proprietary steel that compares to D2 steel with an advantage in corrosion resistance.
